Day 1 – December 28, 2025: Flight Algiers → Djanet

• Departure from Algiers at 10:00 PM, arrival in Djanet at 12:25 AM.
• Welcome at the airport by our Tuareg team.
• Entry formalities for Tassili National Park.
• Immediate departure to Tin Amali for a first night in a desert bivouac under the stars.

🌄 Day 2 – December 29, 2025: Tikoubaouine – The Natural Arch

• Early wake-up and breakfast.
• Trek to Tikoubaouine, a site famous for its natural stone arch and spectacular rock formations.
• Bivouac set up in this breathtaking setting.
• Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

🏜 Day 3 – December 30, 2025: Issendilène Canyon

• Breakfast, then departure to the Issendilène Canyon.
• 2-hour trek through a majestic landscape leading to the Issendilène guelta, one of the Tassili’s most iconic water points.
• Free time to enjoy the site and relax.
• Dinner and overnight in bivouac.

🌴 Day 4 – December 31, 2025: Idharène – Oasis of Ihrir (New Year’s Eve)

• Journey towards Idharène, known for its striking elongated rock formations.
• Picnic lunch on site.
• Continue to the village of Ihrir, nestled in a lush oasis along a wadi.
• Special New Year’s Eve celebration with dinner and Tuareg festivities.
• Overnight stay in traditional huts in Ihrir.

🎨 Day 5 – January 1, 2026: Tigharghart & Return to Djanet

• Breakfast, then drive to Tigharghart to admire the famous rock engraving of the “Crying Cows.”
• Picnic lunch on site.
• Return to Djanet for a visit to the local market and handicraft workshops.
• Dinner, then transfer to the airport for the return flight Djanet → Algiers (departure at 1:35 AM on January 2).

• Return Djanet → Algiers: January 2 at 1:30 AM
  Important: On December 28, a guided tour of the Casbah of Algiers is offered by the agency.

Documents required for your travel agency:

• Passport: Valid for at least six months after your return to France and with no Israeli visa stamp.
• Copy of passport: Photocopy of the first 4 pages, to be sent at the time of registration.
• Visa application form: Completed and signed, to be returned by e-mail.
• Important Note:
  We take care of all formalities for obtaining your visa on arrival. It is essential to send us a copy of your passport at least 20 days before departure.

A few days before departure, you will receive a boarding authorization issued by the Algerian authorities. This document will be required to obtain your visa upon arrival at Djanet Airport.

Processing time at Algiers Airport: between 1 and 2 hours.

Composition of Our Tours

• Tuareg Driver-Guide: A French-speaking Tuareg guide, familiar with the regions crossed, driving a modern 4×4 vehicle.
• Support Vehicles: One or more vehicles may be assigned depending on the group size, used to transport food supplies, water, fuel, and kitchen staff.
• Travel by 4×4 Vehicle: This mode of transport allows for an in-depth exploration of each region and the possibility of covering several areas, highlighting the diversity of the Sahara. On average, 60 to 100 km are covered per day, representing about 4 to 5 hours of driving depending on terrain conditions.
• Scheduled Stops: Planned halts for visits, short hikes, and the discovery of prehistoric rock paintings.
• Vehicle Equipment: Each vehicle is equipped with sand recovery tools (sand ladders, shovels, ropes).
