Sebeiba Tour – 4 Days
Sebeiba celebration
4 days - 550 euros
The Sebeiba in Djanet, the millennium celebration of the Tassili n'Ajjer Tuaregs, takes place annually in Djanet, marking the 10th day of the first Muslim lunar month. Inspired by Moses' victory over Pharaoh, it unites the Oraren and Tra'orfitt tribes, ending years of war. Bringing together Tuaregs and neighboring populations, this event reenacts a symbolic war at the historical battleground. Designated as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2014, the Sebeiba promotes cultural transmission, attracts tourists, and supports local artisans in creating traditional clothing, jewelry, and instruments.
