Confronted with the vastness of the desert and empathetic towards those who strive for the chance to explore it, two souls unite around a shared passion: to facilitate journeys to the Sahara. Hamza, the Franco-Algerian, and Mouna, the Algerian, join forces to make exploring Algeria accessible to all and to highlight the region’s treasures.

Hamza, Explorer and Dreamer

 

As a child, Hamza discovered Algeria through the loving eyes of his family. As an adult, he yearned to explore beyond family visits. However, he often faced a major issue: where were the Algerian travel agencies? They were severely lacking visibility online, and he unfortunately encountered unprofessional businesses. While French agencies were more visible and easier to contact, they offered Algeria trips at exorbitant prices, dampening his desire to journey to the Sahara. Despite the challenges, he still hoped for the opportunity to embark on a desert escape with Algerian agencies, who knew the region’s splendors better than anyone.

Mouna, Patriot with a Big Heart

Mouna, nurtured by Algeria since her youth in an environment where her culture was cherished, has always aimed to put her country on the tourist map. Her path and decisions have consistently aligned with this noble aspiration. Holding a Master’s degree in Tourism from a French university, following her earlier studies in Algeria, she sought to enhance her capabilities by pursuing a second Master’s degree in Digital Marketing. Equipped with expertise in tourism and mastery of modern promotional techniques, she was ready to serve her homeland.

Today, she works as a digital strategy consultant, steadfast in her mission to promote Algeria, particularly its Sahara, as a globally renowned destination against all odds.

A Mission: The Sahara for All

Destiny eventually brought Hamza and Mouna together. Together, they formed the perfect team: Hamza, with his extensive travel experience, and Mouna, with her deep knowledge of the destination and digital marketing. They committed themselves to shining a spotlight on local specialized agencies that deserved more visibility. Eager to pave the way for travelers and make exploring the country simple and enriching, their initiative empowered small, passionate agencies to be heard, creating a network of authentic connections that provide access to the best Sahara tours on the market.

More than just a platform, this project is a tribute to Algeria. It initiates a virtuous circle involving travelers, agencies, and the country itself. It’s a celebration of Algeria, narrated with passion and dedication, uniting hearts and minds toward discovering its wonders.
