Day 1: Visit Algiers
- Stroll around the city’s main monuments.
- Visit the Martyrs’ Memorial and enjoy magnificent views of the Bay of Algiers.
Day 2: Visit Algiers
- Explore the Bardo Museum (ethnography and Saharan prehistory).
- Climb to the top of the precolonial city, visit the Casbah and the Palace of the Raïs.
- Afternoon: Visit the National Museum of Antiquities and Islamic Arts.
- Visit Notre-Dame d’Afrique Basilica.
Day 3: Algiers – Blida – Chiffa
- Visit Blida and Chiffa, crossing the Mitidja region.
Day 4: Algiers – Cherchell – Tipasa
- Excursion to Cherchell, the ancient capital of Mauretania Caesariensis.
- Visit the Archaeological Museum and the Mosaic Park.
- Return to Tipasa to visit its museum housing the precious mosaic of the captives and explore the Roman ruins.

Day 5: Algiers – Departure

Form and Documentation:
- At the time of booking, your agency will send you a form to fill out.
- Complete this form and return it to the agency along with a scanned copy of your passport.
Processing by the Agency:
The agency submits the completed form and a photocopy of your passport to the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts in Algeria. You will then receive a confirmation in the form of a “let pass”, typically within 15 days.
During Check-in:
Present your let pass to board. This document is essential for check-in and entry into the country.
Upon Arrival in Algeria:
You will need to present the following documents:
- Your pass.
- Pay the visa fee: €96 or 14,000 Algerian dinars. Payment can be made in cash, with the option of euros (prices subject to change).
- A bank statement or proof of income (such as a pay slip, tax assessment, or retirement certificate).
- Your round-trip airline ticket.
- Your repatriation insurance certificate.
Affixing the visa:
Once these steps are completed, a visa will be affixed to your passport, allowing you to begin your journey to Djanet or Tamanrasset.
- Comfortable and Suitable Clothing: Pack light clothes for the day and warmer ones for the evenings, especially if you are traveling during the cooler months.
- Walking Shoes: Essential for comfortably exploring historical sites and narrow alleys of the Casbah.
- Sun Protection: Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential, especially if you are traveling during the summer months.
- Camera: Don’t forget to capture breathtaking views and historical sites.
- Small Backpack: Useful for carrying water, snacks, and your personal belongings during excursions.
