When is this circuit scheduled?

This is an exceptional fixed-date departure, from December 28, 2026 to January 2, 2027, to experience New Year's Eve in the Tassili N'Ajjer desert.

As spaces are limited, it is recommended to book well in advance with the agency.

How do I proceed for the visa on arrival?

A visa is mandatory for foreign nationals, but thanks to the visa-on-arrival procedure for Djanet, you no longer need to visit consulates or embassies.

Once you book, the agency takes care of all the formalities: they will send you a form to fill in and return along with a scan of your passport. The agency then submits the file to the Ministry of Tourism, and you will receive confirmation (a "laissez-passer") within about 15 days.

On arrival in Djanet, you will need to present: your laissez-passer, payment of the visa fee (€96 or 14,000 DA), proof of financial means, your round-trip ticket, and your repatriation insurance certificate.

What should I know before leaving?

• This circuit takes place in the heart of the Saharan winter: mild days (18-28°C) but cool nights, especially during the bivouacs — bring warm clothing.
• The Tassili N'Ajjer is a UNESCO-listed national park: a fragile ecological balance, each participant is responsible for keeping the sites they pass through clean.
• The circuit alternates between bivouacs, traditional huts in Iherir, and one night in a guesthouse in Djanet.
• The itinerary is prepared with experienced Tuareg guides. The order of activities may change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

What should I pack for this circuit?
