Day 1:
- Airport welcome and transfer to hotel.
- City tour at 08:00, purchasing of cheches (traditional scarves).
- Departure to meet guide for an 11 km trek.
- Lunch at Oued Ekloukel, followed by a 13 km afternoon trek.
- Dinner and camping at Oued Intaghahouten.
Day 2:
- 11 km trek after breakfast.
- Visit to Guelta Afilal, lunch.
- 7 km afternoon trek.
- Dinner and camping at Oued Ehouegak.
Day 3:
- 14 km trek to Assekrem after breakfast.
- Lunch at the refuge and rest time.
- Visit to Charles de Foucauld’s hermitage and sunset observation.
- Dinner and overnight at the refuge.
Day 4:
- Sunrise followed by breakfast, then 11 km trek to Tahat Atakor.
- Lunch and ascent to Tahat summit.
- Bivouac at the summit.
Day 5:
- Return to camp after sunrise and breakfast.
- 7 km trek, lunch at Oued Ihasayen.
- Afternoon trek of 8 km.
- Dinner and camping at Oued Ilamane.
Day 6:
- Morning 12 km trek to rock engravings.
- Lunch at Oued Terhenanet, followed by a 10 km trek to Terhenanet region.
- Visit to a nomadic village, dinner and camping.
Day 7:
- Departure by 4×4 to Tissalatine after breakfast.
- Visit to rock engravings and paintings.
- Lunch, then return to Tamanrasset for a shower and city tour.
- Souvenir shopping and dinner with locals.
Day 8:
- Return to Algiers and end of the journey.
The price displayed is for a group size of 2 to 6 people, with costs per person decreasing as the group size increases.

Form and Documentation:
- At the time of booking, your agency will send you a form to fill out.
- Complete this form and return it to the agency along with a scanned copy of your passport.
Processing by the Agency:
The agency submits the completed form and a photocopy of your passport to the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts in Algeria. You will then receive a confirmation in the form of a “let pass”, typically within 15 days.
During Check-in:
Present your let pass to board. This document is essential for check-in and entry into the country.
Upon Arrival in Algeria:
You will need to present the following documents:
- Your pass.
- Pay the visa fee: €96 or 14,000 Algerian dinars. Payment can be made in cash, with the option of euros (prices subject to change).
- A bank statement or proof of income (such as a pay slip, tax assessment, or retirement certificate).
- Your round-trip airline ticket.
- Your repatriation insurance certificate.
Affixing the visa:
Once these steps are completed, a visa will be affixed to your passport, allowing you to begin your journey to Djanet or Tamanrasset.

- Daily Walking Hours: 5 to 6 hours.
- Climate: In winter, mild days and cold nights. From April onwards, temperatures can exceed 40°C in some regions. Regular hydration and head covering (hat, cap, or cheche) are essential, with options available for purchase locally.
